AusAID Country Brief
The Australian Overseas Aid Program, of which ACIAR is a part, aims to assist developing countries to reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development. AusAID manages the program, excluding the ACIAR component, on behalf of the Australian Government.
Australian aid provides practical, well targeted development assistance to the Asia-Pacific region, and responds selectively to needs in South Asia, Africa and the Middle East. AusAID's country briefs provide information on Australia's bilateral aid activities in those countries with which Australia has a development partnership.
DFAT Country/Economic brief
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) is responsible for advancing the interests of Australia and Australians internationally. DFAT administers Australia's foreign and trade policies, both within Australia and overseas.
