Liz Clarke

Liz Clarke is Manager, Communications and Secretariat Unit. The Unit is responsible for the communication of information generated through ACIAR’s activities to stakeholders in Australia and partner countries and for information management in ACIAR. The Unit is also the secretariat for the ACIAR Commission and Policy Advisory Committee.

Prior to joining ACIAR, Liz has most recently worked with the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, the Australian Taxation Office, CSIRO, the Environment Management Industry Association of Australia (EMIAA) and as director of Liz Clarke Communications.

Liz has worked in communications and management for many years, and also as an agricultural scientist. She has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from the University of Queensland, a Graduate Diploma in Communication (Public Relations) from Queensland University of Technology and has completed an executive course in general management at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
