Mr Bruce Davis is the Director General of AusAID. Mr Davis has a long career in the aid sector. He joined the then Australian Development Assistance Agency and worked in various policy and program areas for ten years. He was centrally involved in the Jackson Committee established by the Government to review the Australian aid program.
For the last fifteen years, Mr Davis has worked in a wide variety of positions in AusAID including as Director of the Pacific Islands Program, Assistant Director General for Policy and Deputy Director General responsible for the Pacific and International Division. During this time he served as Deputy Secretary General of the South Pacific Forum based in Fiji.
