As a response IFPRI has developed and coordinated a systemwide project to assess the poverty impacts of technologies developed by the CGIAR. This has involved two phases: the first undertook a review and synthesis of the literature on the links between agricultural research and poverty; the second phase is now undertaking a series of case studies derived from Phase 1, to ascertain actual impacts of the research on the poor. ACIAR has provided funding for both phases of the project. Project Outcomes Outcomes for this project are currently being prepared |
