While ACIAR has previously included studies on policy issues in its portfolio, it is now embarking on a more concerted effort to look at the effect of policy on the probability of its projects having favourable impacts. This work aims to identify strategies for dealing with situations where the policy and institutional environment hinders the adoption of new technologies, or diminishes the benefits of adoption. |
