Agribusiness

Research Program Manager: Mr David Shearer
email: shearer@aciar.gov.au

The goal of the Agribusiness program is to provide improved access for farmers and agribusiness to new knowledge underpinning the production and marketing of agricultural outputs at higher levels of productivity and quality. Initially the program will have an exclusive focus on Indonesia, and over the medium term about half of the program's activities will fall under the major Support for Market Driven Adaptive Research - SADI initiative in Indonesia. The program will address the full supply chain for agricultural commodities, including production, postharvest processing and marketing issues.
