Use and management of grain protectants in China and Australia

Summary

An ACIAR-supported project 'Integrating Grain Protectants into Storage Pest Management' was based in China and Australia. Most of the benefits will accrue to China through knowledge gained about management of the new protectants and further development of an expert system. An investment analysis shows significant benefits from the project, with a net present value of $10 million and a benefit-cost ratio of 7:1.
