Since the early 1970s the Indonesian government has had an active approach to agricultural policy, mainly to stimulate rice production in order to provide a stable base for the overall economy. The major instruments of the agricultural policy have been input and output price supports to producers. This book examines and reports on this policy which the authors have tested during 6 years of research.
