Action ready climate knowledge to improve disaster risk management for small holder farmers in the Philippines

This project aims to improve disaster risk management for smallholder farmers in the Philippines.
Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) has focussed more on urban than rural areas both internationally and in the Philippines. This is changing; several government and non-government organisation (NGO) projects in the Philippines are addressing DRR as part of climate change adaptation.
The project will improve the value of information flows between Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) and key decision makers involved in managing climate and weather risk of smallholder farmers.
