There are many magnificent creatures found
on the tropical reefs of the Pacific islands, but few
are as spectacular as giant clams.

Today giant clams are back, at least in some
protected areas, due to the combined efforts of
many dedicated people including researchers,
fisheries authorities, coastal communities and
resort staff.
