Country Partnerships
ACIAR brokers and funds research partnerships between Australian scientists and their counterparts in developing countries.
Currently funding more than 170 research projects across 37 countries throughout the Indo-Pacific, these bilateral collaborative research projects account for approximately 70% of our total research budget.
To build and maintain these essential research partnerships, we have a network of in-country staff across ten office locations in four key regions—the Pacific, East and South-East Asia, South Asia and Eastern and Southern Africa.
