Overview

This project aimed to explain onion price rises and provide insights into the causes of food price inflation more generally.

The research was done from an agricultural policy perspective, focusing on market structure, price formation and competition issues, and it included analytical modelling and field research involving surveys and statistical analysis of market price data.
