Smallholder goat value chains in Pakistan; challenges and research opportunities final report

This project was part of the DFAT-funded Agriculture Value Chain Collaborative Research program (AVCCR) which identified goat meat value chains within Pakistan as a high priority for further research. The overarching goal of this program is “that rural poor, particularly women, living in the Punjab and Sindh significantly and equitably benefit from improvements in strategic value chains”. The AVCCR targets strategic value chains impacting smallholder livelihoods and focuses on social equity and the empowerment of women as fundamentals to development.
