Overview
This project aimed to identify opportunities for a long term partnership with North African regional and Australian Institutions, to further understand challenges, equity and participation issues, and opportunities for enhancing the adoption of conservation agriculture in the region, and identify:
- a strategic approach to the development of a regional conservation agriculture research and training hub; potentially in Tunisia
- the level of research capacity and extension personnel relating to conservation agriculture, and areas for skill development, and
- applicability and adaptability of Australian conservation agriculture practices, systems approach and technologies to the region, considering gender and high poverty areas.
