Overview

This project aimed to support the global Adaptation Research Alliance to develop its Tracking Learning Sharing Platform, and associated processes for leading-edge multi-partner collaborative learning, to accelerate effective climate adaptation.

The platform builds on a synthesis of global research and practice about collaborative monitoring, evaluation and learning at large scales.

Through resourcing the development and initial trials of an online Tracking Learning Sharing platform designed based on this research synthesis, this project will put in place the architecture for the next step of research and practice. It will enable ARA members to engage in large-scale shared learning and will thus also enable applied empirical research about what does and doesn’t work when trying to support this process.

Project outcomes

  • Translated research synthesis previously conducted into a design for the Tracking Learning Sharing (TLS) Platform.
  • Developed and launched the TLS Platform.
  • Enabled the initial operation of the platform to provide a foundation for future research/evaluation of its effectiveness at facilitating multi-stakeholder large-scale shared learning.
