Overview
The ACIAR Corporate Plan for 2025–26 outlines how ACIAR will deliver on its strategic objectives. This plan acknowledges the changing environment in which we operate and describes the key activities and capabilities required to work towards our purpose. It will guide our ongoing functions of building the partnerships, knowledge, capacity and impact required to achieve more productive and sustainable agriculture and natural resource systems emerging from collaborative international research partnerships in the Indo-Pacific and Africa.
Our performance is measured against achievements in 3 key areas of work, which all have the common goal of engaging with partners to achieve our purpose. These areas are:
- global research collaborations
- bilateral and regional research projects
- scientific and policy capacity-development activities.
ACIAR research projects, programs and partnerships will be developed in alignment with the 6 strategic objectives set out in our ACIAR 10-Year Strategy 2018–2027.
The plan has been prepared as required under paragraph 35(1)(b) of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) and in accordance with the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014.
