Sulfur fertilizer policy for lowland and upland cropping systems in Indonesia
ACIAR has supported a wide range of fertilizer-related projects within its plant nutrition program. Its involvement in sulfur research in Indonesia began in 1985 with a project that also included studies in Thailand and Malaysia. These proceedings arise from a seminar held in 1989. They contain a review of the needs for sulfur fertilizers in Indonesia together with recommendations for ways in which sulfur could be efficiently incorporated into fertilizer programs in the industry. They also outline strategies for restoring nutrient balance to the fertilizers used in Indonesia. Proceedings of a seminar, Jakarta, Indonesia, 18-20 July, 1989.
