Maintaining momentum within the pearl livelihoods sector in the western Pacific - Final Report

The project aimed to fix broken power tools at the Vava’u Pearl Centre after the December 2022 floods damaged the training facility. Key project activities included:

• Revising the pearl livelihoods sector development plan.
• Conducting market research.
• Providing design and handicraft skills training.

The project identified potential markets and marketing opportunities for Tongan mabé pearls.
