The research programs have a geographic focus in the Indo-Pacific, fostering innovative solutions through the development of new knowledge and evidence with a strong focus on addressing climate change through mitigation, adaptation and resilience in conjunction with food and nutritional security, primarily in smallholder systems in developing countries. The position is based in Canberra and requires international travel approximately 6 times per year.
